LIBRA 2025 - mountaincutters

For the 4th edition of Correspondance Astrale, mountaincutters produced the postcard foreseeing 2024 for Libra ⚖️.

Mountaincutters is an artist duo focused on in-situ sculpture, exploring the relationship between humans and their environments. Blending craftsmanship and industry, modernity and archaism, their work creates hybrid ecosystems of steel structures, glass, ceramics, textiles, and organic materials, channeling energy between the human, organic, and inanimate. Their clinically aesthetic pieces (chairs, beds, benches) evoke both resistance and vulnerability. Exhibited at venues like Palais de Tokyo (2023) and Meessen Gallery (2024), their works are part of collections such as FRAC SUD, Middelheim Museum, and MUDAC Lausanne.
