Rafaela Lopez (b. 1988, Paris) is a visual artist based in Paris and New York, whose work navigates the boundaries between art, documentary, and entertainment. Focused on bridging diverse audiences, she creates inclusive spaces where art and popular culture intersect. A graduate of the École Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Paris, Villa Arson, and the Royal College of Art, her work has been exhibited internationally at venues such as MAC VAL, Palais de Tokyo, and the Foundation Louis Vuitton. Lopez has participated in residencies at FLAX (Los Angeles) and Casa de Velázquez (Madrid) and received awards including the Around Video Prize (2023) and the Art Ensemble Prize (2022). She is represented by Galerie Gilles Drouault (Paris).
